What are you holding space for? When you deep that question you realise that life in general, is about holding space for things, people, emotions, dreams and more. Our being carries so much. My words are all over the place but
sums it up so well in this piece.

When she said, “How often do we carry this internalized sense of rejection so deeply that we discount ourselves before anyone else can?” my brain dug into history and I realised it may have been a minute ago that I discounted myself. #sigh
I have never nodded my head as much as I did reading this article. Culturally, women were given the less strenuous tasks, when they were on their period they were asked to stay in their huts and rest. When they gave birth, everyone came around to help so that they could rest. In today’s world we are expected to forever be on the move, to work harder than men and be better at everything. Who set that standard?

I know we are all taking stock of our wins right this moment. End year is notorious for dragging us into self-resentment and undoing our accomplishments.
